Here we outline all the steps that you as hotel are required to perform to ensure that your Oaky is setup with the right content for success

  1. Log in to the hotel dashboard

  2. Go to hotel settings -> localisation

    1. To know what languages are required for the hotel

  3. Go to messaging

    1. General settings

      1. Check branding button in email

      2. Update header email picture to include the hotel logo (and use the same header email image as guest application landing page)

    2. Emails

      1. Default version

        1. Ensure the email content is the same as the approved Chain template for Pre Arrival 1 and 2

  4. Guest application

    1. Services

      1. Check all content and all prices in all languages. Pay attention to English content and tags in other languages for deals created using Oaky templates

    2. Upgrades

    3. Branding

      1. Buttons

        1. Check the hotel website if they use UPPERCASE and rounded/rectangle CTA, if so update Oaky to reflect that

      2. General

        1. Update font to the most similar Google font to their website font

      3. Copy

        1. Check the tags under Salutation and Greeting text

  5. Content

    1. Button text

      1. Add “Upgrade now” for upgrades and use this in the room upgrades. In French this is “Surclassez-vous”

  6. Hotel settings

    1. Check hotel website if Check-in and Check-out times are correct. This is important since these tags sometimes are part of the guest emails (Normally, Check-in is at 3 pm and Check-out at 12 pm)

  7. Emails

    1. Send yourself a preview email in all languages

      1. Check tags and content in the emails

  8. Check the guest app

    1. Scan so that all deals look good in all languages (images, copy, pricing)

  9. User management

    1. Remove any user that does not belong to the hotel

  10. Once all of the above is OK

    1. Update any relevant internal documentation

    2. Give yourself a high-five
